Why Heitmar Leather

Luxury craft without empty claims

Everything is made by hand in a small Moravian workshop. Stitching, dyeing and decoration all happen without serial production and without compromising the details. You do not need to arrive with a finished design — often a rough idea, a reference photo or just the feeling you want the piece to have is enough.
  • hand saddle stitch and carefully finished edges
  • custom motifs, monograms, carving and acrylic painting
  • inlays and personal details by agreement
  • design help rooted in drawing practice and colour sense
Ideas do not have to fit a catalogue.
On request I can incorporate deeply personal elements — for example a lucky keepsake sewn into a wallet or a material that carries meaning for the owner.

Watch a piece being made

A short look directly into the workshop. The video shows pace, material and the way a handmade leather piece takes shape.
On my YouTube channel you can watch more process videos and see that the work does not simply “come out of a machine”. From sketching and cutting to stitching, carving, dyeing and finishing, the whole piece is made by hand. Open the YouTube channel.
